BIG Protests Planned For Tuesday
Come join your colleagues, neighbors and family members at the corner of Oak Glen Road and Yucaipa Blvd. Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 for some good old fashioned picketing! It's important that we show our strength and unity before we have fact finding next week.

If you are reading this blog, you are probably are well informed, and have already made the time in your busy schedule for this crucial show of support. It is up to teachers like you to convince our more passive colleagues that their presence this week and next week is essential to securing a fair settlement. Apathy is a vote, too. There is far more at stake here than just the past two years. Next year's bargaining is just around the corner (unless we manage to secure a three year settlement a'la Colton), and if we lose this time, we might as well throw in the towel for next year as well. The Board needs to be unequivocally convinced that we stand united in our support of a fair settlement, and we are willing to strike if need be to take what is rightfully ours. This truly is our last, best opportunity to show the Board that we mean business!
We are teachers, counselors, and school psychologists, all giving our best for the children of Yucaipa-Calimesa. We ask that we be treated fairly and professionally.

I'M MADDER THAN HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
I'll definitely be there....we all should be, as we will all benefit from the settlement when it eventually comes!
